We are IREC Melbourne
Our faith is expressed in the two Statements of Faiths. One expresses the content of our faith (Reformed faith) and the other, our commitment to sharing the gospel with others (Evangelical faith). As part of the International Reformed Evangelical Church founded by Rev. Dr. Stephen Tong, we desire to be faithful to the Word of God. Hence, our worship service is centered on a careful exposition of the Word of God.
Our desire is each of us might become disciples rooted in Christ, growing in His Word and sharing the love, peace and joy that Christ has first given to us through His suffering on the cross. We aim to build a strong community and fellowships and impact the rest of the world through our faith.

Sunday Service in Bahasa Indonesia at 9:30am.
Sunday Service in English at 12:30pm.

Children Ministry
Our children ministry vision is to faithfully guide the children so that they may fear the Lord, to walk in all His ways, to love Him, to serve the Lord with all their heart and their soul. (Deuteronomy 10:12)
To achieve this vision, we do the following:
- Organise regular recruitments, training and teaching preparation for teachers and encourage long-term service commitments so relationships are built between teachers and students
- Build an active learning process, paying attention to the physical, emotional, social, intellectual and spiritual development of different children, and help build habits of regular prayer and Bible reading
- Use a certified curriculum that is educationally and Biblically sound, according to each child's age
- Build a strong partnership between parents, teachers and the church
- Conduct discipleship by parents in the family (Family Discipleship)
- Build intergenerational settings in the church that support children's faith formation
We have seven Sunday School classes from Toddlers to Teens conducted in English language, run from 9:30am to 11:30am onsite at 552 City Road, South Melbourne.
The classes are grouped into:
- Toddler (18 - 35 months)
- Preschooler (3 - 5 years old)
- Lower Elementary (Prep - Year 2)
- Middle Elementary (Years 3 - 4)
- Upper Elementary (Years 5 - 6)
- Junior Teen (Years 7 - 8)
- Senior Teen (Years 9 - 12)
We also have a Teen Fellowship for teenagers in Years 7 to 12. It is held fortnightly on Friday from 6.30pm to 8.30pm at two locations:
- East side (Boronia / Rowville)
- West side (Point Cook)
